As a Simulation Engineer at Dematic, you’ll work on software that virtually tests and validates large-scale automated warehouse systems before they go live. This paid internship will give you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in this exciting field, work on projects and see how software, engineering and automation come together to solve real-world challenges.

🚀 You will have the opportunity to:

• Develop simulation models representing pre-designed material handling solutions to test warehouse control strategies.
• Identify potential system bottlenecks and propose relevant improvements.
• Develop your international communication skills by working with global teams on simulation assumptions, results and findings.

💡About you:

• 3rd or 4th year student in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field looking final-year or spring/summer internship.
• Moderate programming skills.
• A passion for automation, engineering, and technological innovation.
• Good English language skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• You are self-driven and most of all – curious!
