As a Software Engineer at Dematic, you’ll work on software that brings large-scale automated warehouses to life. This paid internship will give you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in this exciting field, work on projects and see how software, engineering and automation come together to solve real-world challenges.

🚀 You will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in a project as a member of the team and get involved in the Agile processes, including scrums, daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives.
  • Apply your technical knowledge to contribute to real project development tasks while working closely with senior team members.
  • Gain exposure to the 3D testing environment of virtual facilities in functional or mass testing scenarios.
  • Develop practical experience with enterprise technologies such as Java, Hibernate, Rabbit MQ, JMS, Maven, Git, WildFly, Oracle/MSSQL, GWT, REST services and automated testing environments.

💡 About you:

  • 3rd or 4th year student in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related technical field looking final-year or spring/summer internship.
  • Knowledge of Java or another object-oriented programming language.
  • A passion for automation, engineering, and technological innovation.
  • Good English language skills.
  • A positive can-do attitude, great attention to detail, and an interest in continuous self-development.
  • You are self-driven and most of all – curious!
