We are the Data Team at Helmes Lithuania, and we are looking for a curious and motivated Data Engineer Intern to join us! This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in Data Engineering and AI-powered solutions within a leading IT company. As a Data Engineer Intern, you will dive into the implementation and integration of AI agents for process automation in commercial information systems, while exploring how cutting-edge data technologies are applied in real-world business cases. 

Challenges you’ll tackle: 

• Explore and implement AI agent technologies 

• Work on integrating agents into business and information systems 

• Automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows 

• Collaborate with the Data Team on real-world use cases 

Skills for success: 

• Interest in AI, automation, and agent-based systems 

• Familiarity with Python (basic programming skills) 

• Basic knowledge of SQL and information systems 

• Curiosity in exploring AI technologies such as transformer models, classical ML methods, and more 

• Ability to learn independently, demonstrate curiosity in research, and present findings clearly 

• Motivation to apply new technologies in practice 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
