Are you passionate about technology or newly exploring the world of IT? At Rocket Software, we offer a thriving environment for your career growth. We are seeking an enthusiastic, responsible intern to join our organization as the future Rocketeer. In this position, you’ll start with a paid internship program and learn the ins-and-outs of what it takes to be Mainframe Developer at Rocket Software.

Our Academy is structured as a six-month program, divided into two three-month phases. During each phase, participants will be employed as full-time engineers, gaining hands-on experience and insights from U.S. experts and Rocket’s top specialists. Whether you’re passionate about tech or new to coding, we welcome motivated individuals to become the next generation of Rocketeers.

Through our selection process, 24 talented candidates will be chosen to join Rocket Software as full-time interns at the NextGen Academy, earning a competitive gross salary of €1,500 per month. Upon completing the three-month internship, attendees will have the opportunity to unlock exciting prospects for shaping their future with us. They can continue their journey as full-time Rocketeers for an additional three months, advancing their careers with Rocket Software’s NextGen Academy.

In total, the Academy will span six months, after which students will join their teams for the next phase of their journey with Rocket Software.

What You Will Do: 

• Learn mainframe fundamentals and low-level programming in hands-on training 

• Complete individual and group assignments & demonstrate competencies through final assessments 

• Collaborate with a team to address real-world problems

• Familiar with at least one programming language (e.g., C, C++, Java)
