ArcaPay (https://www.arcapay.com/) is a rapidly growing financial technology (FinTech) company with office Lithuania. We are searching for a part time Junior Quality Assurance (QA) /  Junior  developer Intern to work from our office in Kaunas, Lithuania and remotely. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student aspiring to gain practical experience.

Principal duties and responsibilities

Working alongside IT developers, a new member of the team will be involved in a wide range of activities:

• Performing manual testing of product features and identifying required fixes.
• Identifying and reporting bugs in a project management system.
• Creating and reviewing automation code.
• Developing
• Participating in preparation of testing plans.
• Maintaining and distributing software documentation, reference manuals, and training guides.
• Working with IT developers, product managers and other team members to improve current processes.

Requirements

• Enrolment in an IT related study programme.
• Basics of web & programming skills (HTML, JavaScript, PHP) and understanding of software testing concepts.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude.
• Diligence and attention to detail.
• Understanding of Agile practices would be advantageous.
• Any experience in automated testing would be advantageous.
• Genuine curiosity and willingness to learn.
• A sense of humour always helps.
