About the program:

We are looking for two interns in the Quality Assurance team who will contribute to the testing of various small satellites and their subsystems. As a part of this team, you will learn from satellite testing experts who will share their knowledge and experience. Your main task will be to help the team with satellite hardware testing before the satellite is launched to orbit. As we say… One mistake, and you have a brick in space. Not scared? Let’s rocket quality standards to the sky (literally). 

As the Intern in the QA department, you will:

• Learn how to work with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Service Desk, Bitbucket)
• Learn how to work with the Xray test management system
• Learn how to identify, analyze, and report errors to the development teams
• Participate in high quality and timely test cases design and execution
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the testing processes and strategy
• Gain the understanding of satellite subsystems hardware and software functionalities
• Work with hands-on testing of satellite hardware
• Help colleagues with quality parameters recording and test reports preparation

We are looking for:

• 3rd – 4th-year students of bachelor programs
• Highly motivated students who have a strong willingness to learn and contribute to the growth of the new space industry

We expect you to:

• Have a basic electronics or physics understanding
• Be result-oriented and have a proactive attitude, willingness to learn and perform daily hands-on activities
• Be able to act and adapt in a fast-changing environment
• Have good English language knowledge (oral and written)
• Be able to work independently and escalate challenges if needed

Nice to have:

• Bug-intolerant mindset, ability to predict bugs
• Interested in scripting, processes optimization/automation

Important for you to know:

• Internship duration: 3 months
• Remuneration: 730 euros gross/ month
• After a successful internship, interns will have the opportunity to be employed as full-time employees
