What you will be doing

Under general direction of the Global Financial Shared Services (GFSS) management, this position is responsible for customer payment collections on Returns, completing scheduled reporting assignments, and providing support to the Accounts Receivable department to meet and exceed its objectives.​

• Solicits payment on overdue accounts according to payment terms within department’s guidelines and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Performs in-depth analysis of returns variances and deductions; identifies source of issue and decides the appropriate action needed to resolve issue; complex issues could require coordination of several internal departments and/or representatives from clients/customers.
• Reconciles returns in accordance with approved guidelines and return policies.
• Maintains frequent contact with customers.
• Submits Short Payment Forms within the established customer repayment request submission deadline.
• Manages the Returns Accounts Receivable portfolio for assigned customers/clients; responsible for the timely collection of monies due from customers and the aging goals as planned by senior management.

What your background should look like 

• General knowledge of business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through a combination of work experience and completion of relevant college courses.
• 1+ years Collections, Accounts Receivable, Settlement Operations or similar experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Comfortable in fast-paced environment working independently or as a team member.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
• Familiarity with collection procedures, A/R activities and very good reconciliation skill.
• Good analytical, conceptual, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate effectively with MS Office, Outlook, ERP and Salesforce systems.
• Minimum Intermediate and preferably Advanced Excel skill.
