GND is an international sustainable investment service company. We are looking for an intern to work as an assistant Sustainability Manager who will help us market-leading sustainability services to our Clients. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated persons aspiring to grow and gain practical experience in the areas of sustainable finance, sustainable energy, environmental engineering, and sustainable investment management.

Principal duties and responsibilities

Working alongside Senior Managers and Chief Executives, a new member of the team will be involved in tasks related to:

• Gathering, organising, and analysing financial and sustainability (ESG) data from multiple sources.
• Keeping pace with the newest sustainability directives and regulations.
• Assistance in conducting sustainability (ESG) due diligence and sustainability risk assessments for potential investments.
• Assistance in the preparation of documents to turn data into actionable business insights.
• Participation in regular meetings with company managers and business partners.

We expect you have a strongly pro-active, conducive, ‘can-do’ demeanour, you are able to follow data across multiple systems and sources. You can be a perfect match for our team if you have:

• Familiarity with sustainable finance and sustainable energy.
• Very good English skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).
• Analytical thinking and good problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.

Note: the paid contract is going to be concluded if Candidate(s) has relevant background knowledge and expertise, i.e., master students, and/or Candidates with initial work experience, and/or Candidates who can add value to the Company from day one. Other suitable Candidates are welcome for an Internship trial period to get hands-on experience in a good working environment with dedicated mentorship. When during the trial period the value creation ability is proven by the Intern a paid working contract and career progression opportunities might be proposed.
