Our team in Lithuania is growing, and we’re looking for a Junior Automation Engineer who is eager to kick-start their engineering career. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in electrical and PLC software commissioning, working on cutting-edge material handling solutions across EMEA.

🚀 What will you do in this role?

  • Commission controls systems on-site including electrical and PLC software commissioning and provide support to system test activities and training for the end user.
  • Produce commissioning documentation including, but not limited to, commissioning checklists, tests specifications, Method Statements and Risk Assessments for Automated solutions.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and design input information.
  • Deliver the assigned project scope and tasks by meeting / exceeding our safety, quality, On-Time-Delivery and budget requirements.
  • Ensure safety and compliance of control systems according to international standards (BS EN ISO).
  • Maintain the Dematic image as a top-quality, professional company, by adopting an honest, professional and attentive approach whilst complying with the company policies.

💡 What are we looking for?

  • Final-Year Student or Graduate in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Ability to understand Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings.
  • Knowledge of PLC (e.g., Siemens or Allan Bradley), HMI, SCADA development and commissioning software.
  • Understanding of bus systems (Profinet, Profibus, ASi, EthernetIP or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to customer sites for up to 80% of the time.
  • Full working proficiency in English.
  • Hold a valid driving license.

💰 Salary: The monthly pay range for this role is estimated to be €1700-2200 gross (final compensation will be determined based on your competencies and experience)
