Trainee Workshop Mechanic (Composite workshop)


Duties:

✈Layout, assemble, pre-fit and bond a variety of metal, glass, carbon laminate fabrications and repairs, assembles, skins or equipment.

✈ Job located in aircraft component repair shops.

✈ Repair of components using riveting and metal forming techniques.

✈ Assembly of components by riveting, pressing, bolting.

✈ Inspection of components before and after repair.

✈ Repairs are performed in accordance with technical manuals and drawings.

✈ Completion of repair work task documents.

✈ Working with computer programs, e.g. AMOS, MS Office.

 

Requirements:

✈ Flexible approach to working in a fast changing environment.

✈ Proactive, positive approach, ability to work on own initiative and in a team.

✈ Attention to detail, hard working.

✈ Strong organizational/time management skills.

✈ Studies related to aircraft maintenance/engineering – an advantage.

✈ Experience in technical/mechanical jobs – an advantage.

✈ Willing to work from 07:00 to 19:00 (5 days on, 3 – off).

✈ Good English skills (both written and oral).
