Littelfuse is seeking highly motivated fresh graduates to join our Engineering rotational program upon graduation in the spring of 2024. The RISE Rotational Engineer Program is designed to develop the next generation of industry leaders through three engineering-focused assignments and learning opportunities within the organization. It offers a full-time permanent position that will enable fresh and recent university graduates to learn and grow across several functions before settling into a role that fits the participants’ strengths and interests. Each strategic assignment provides the skills and experience necessary to build a solid career foundation at Littelfuse.

RISE Engineers will experience three rotational assignments within 18-24 months where they will gain hands-on experience, formal training, coaching/mentoring, and exposure to executive leadership. They will also be part of a global community of program participants where they will learn from each other and have access to a wide support network. The rotations are intended to provide valuable diverse experience and maximize the participant’s learning within the 18-24 months. You will come out of the program with an enhanced skill set and a deeper connection to the organization and your peers.

The Program provides:

3 rotational assignments with a total duration of 18-24 months:

• 6-8 months in R&D Engineering
• 6-8 months in R&D Validation and Testing
• 6-8 months in New Product Implementation

Permanent, full-time placement after the development program ends

During the program you will:   

• Develop comprehensive design proposals for Littelfuse prototypes, products, and processes given internal/customer specifications
• Prepare technical documentation in line with assigned department requirements
• Design and support production processing hardware, tooling and fixturing required to produce new products efficiently and safely
• Support creation and implementation of verification and validation testing
• Contribute significantly to business outcomes through delivery of your assignment projects
• Participate in intentional and structured career development activities and receive active mentoring
• Interact with peers and network with business leaders to gain exposure and obtain support for assignments
• Solve critical international business challenges through participation in cross-functional teams

About you:

• Student or fresh graduate in Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Design
• Up to 1 year of professional working experience in fields
• Available to work in a full-time role on site
• Gained technical knowledge in the field of study and common engineering practices
• Great communication skills and fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Flexible and willing to work in cross-functional, cross-disciplinary roles within the company
• Motivated to join an international and fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Motivated, self-developer, and eager to make a change
• Passionate about technology and looking to fast track their career in engineering
