Software Engineer (.NET/C#) in Kaunas for a long-term project of the only Apple Authorized Distributor in the Baltics together with Icybit – the R&D company.

Responsibilities

Design, implementation and support of a region-wide distribution platform comprising more than 40 microservices, including:

• Analysis of consumer electronics wholesale distribution business domain;
• Design of platform architecture, databases and algorithms;
• Implementation of frontend and backend functionality.

Qualifications

• Experience in .NET/.NET Core/C# and other Microsoft server-side technologies;
• Experience in MS SQL, Entity Framework and other related database technologies;
• Experience in React.JS, Angular.JS, Vue.JS or similar JavaScript technologies;
• Knowledge of REST and other service-oriented methodologies;
• Knowledge of the consumer electronics wholesale distribution business domain is a plus;
• Experience in distributed computing and microservices is a plus;
• Contribution to the Open Source community is a plus.

Salary

1300 – 2600€ / month before taxes. Candidates will be expected to transition over a II-phase interview process that includes a software engineering task to determine the appropriate level of compensation with the exception of candidates that have demonstrated contribution to the Open Source community.

Location

Kaunas, Lithuania. This is a 3/4 to full-time position with a flexible schedule.
