Technical Services Engineer

Description

Ryanair is currently recruiting for Technical Services Engineers to join our Engineering department. Based in our KAMS office in Kaunas, Lithuania you will work as part of a dedicated team of engineers to provide support for the Ryanair Group fleet of Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft by ensuring continuing airworthiness and providing AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support when needed.

The Role

Junior Technical Services Engineer positions are available in the following departments:

Aircraft Systems; Powerplant; Aircraft Maintenance Program; Avionics; Airworthiness Directive and Service Bulletin review; Aircraft Continuing Airworthiness Monitoring.

 

Duties include:

  • Daily reviews, delivery of technical reports and presentations
  • Provide input to support AOG recovery efforts when needed
  • Review and implementation of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and other technical documentation
  • Creation and issuance of Engineering Orders
  • Implementation of solutions to reliability issues in conjunction with Reliability Department and OEMs
  • Support aircraft lease returns and sales
  • Ad-hoc projects and actions assigned by the Department Managers

Requirements

  • Relevant Engineering Degree (Aircraft/Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics or similar) or completed EASA Part 66 modules
  • Good English skills (both verbal and written)
  • Good Computer Literacy with strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and make decisions in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Lateral thinker who can identify areas of potential improvement and provide solutions
  • Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.
