Before going through the requirements and responsibilities of a Technical Data Analyst, there are a few in-house terms we want to share with you in order to understand – what this role is all about.

Who is Technical Data Analyst that belongs to OCA’s team @Voltas IT:
Our OCA team consists of skilled engineers with strong technical automotive background who conduct relevant market research, develop One-Click Apps (further OCAs), provides technical support to our companies’ specialist teams, moderators, and customers.

What is the One-click application:
One-Click Apps are pre-coded adaptations that will allow our consumers to change or adjust vehicle settings and functions using the mobile app in just one click without having extensive automotive knowledge. Or as we like to say we made the coding for them.

How it is made:
Our OCA team members search for possibilities or gather our community requests for the needed features activations in the cars, making them into applications, and testing them on particular vehicles.
 Your responsibilities in the role as a Technical Data Analyst will include:

• Monitoring of One-Click Apps (OCA’s)
• Analyzing vehicles control units for OCA’s creation
• Searching, copying, and adapting existing OCA’s for different car models
• Developing and testing of new OCA’s

• Maintenance of OCA builder – suggestions for improvements
• Connecting vehicle control units for car simulation

What we expect from you:

• Technical knowledge of automotive engineering (ability to explain car components principles of operation; principles of vehicle control units communication, etc.)
• At least minimal VAG car coding experience and ability to code the car control units (long codings, codings, adaptations etc.)

• Understanding of car diagnostic tools possibilities
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field (electronics, automotive or related)
  If your degree is from a different field – your application is also proper. But we must receive arguments that you have some knowledge/practice regarding car electronics or automotive diagnostic solutions
• Ability to work in a team as well as find solutions independently
• Attention to details with excellent follow-up practices
• Good knowledge of English and fluency in Lithuanian;

• Some knowledge of German would be an advantage
