INTEGRATION ENGINEER (INTERN)

We are looking for an integration engineer (Managed File Transfer) intern to join our team.

This role requires a focus on protocol security and translation while implementing technology solutions that are fully redundant and can span across multi-platforms (Windows – Unix).

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Working with the customer processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management);
  •  Service hours are between 7:00 – 18:00 (German time), Monday to Friday, and On-Call duty. On the first onboarding months – work hours are only during the core shift, 7:00 – 16:00 (German time);
  • Performing root cause analysis, application log analysis;
  • Daily monitoring of the systems using monitoring tools;
  • Install, update applications on various OS.
  • Change, incident, problem management.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Basic understanding of UNIX fundamentals, standard command knowledge, and programming languages;
  • Familiarity with basic system administration tools and processes required;
  • Experience performing maintenance and administrative tasks within an application;
  • Microsoft Windows skills and troubleshooting experience;
  • Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, peer-to-peer, RPC, shares, FTP, and packets;
  • Understanding of security fundamentals;
  • Ability to create and document instructions so that others can follow them;
  • A strong technical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills;
  • Able to work independently;
  • Good communication skills in English;
ADVANTAGES

  • Knowledge of SSH and PKI key infrastructures for authentication and file/data transfers;
  • German language skills (B2);
